The Evolution

The Young Game

Yes, that's Triple H, a very young Triple H. Growning up in Nasshua, NH (Town's similar to my name = )). Triple H would have seen stars like Bob Backlund, The Iron Sheik and a "younger" Hulk Hogan on the AWA circuit. Although I have no idea who his favorite wrestlers were or his influences, but something must have lit a fire under the Game when he decided to become a wrestler. Being a wrestler in the early 80s was a stupid move. It wasn't even that popular and all the younger guys got jobbed until they were in their 40s and their gimmicks have been played out. I have to believe that Hunter's friends Scott Hall, Sean Waltman, Kevin Nash, and Michael Hickenbottom have been a major influence to him.

Trained by a Killer

When The Game (right) wanted to be played he went to see Killer Kowalski (left). The Hall of Famer trained Hunter, Chyna, and Perry Saturn, I'm not sure if it was at the same time but this was probably when Hunter first met Chyna. After training, Hunter was off to WCW.

Tera Ryzin/Jean-Paul Levesque

Ah, WCW where the big boys look ridiculous. In his few matches with the Dubya C Dubya, Hunter wasn't alloud to win because he didn't draw very much heat as a heel in the Georgia Promotion. His biggest match came at Starrcade where he faced "Das Wonderkid" Alex Wright. That pic above is from his match and that drop kicked was probably his high point of his WCW career. HHH was one of the many short term jobbers that WCW had through the years such as, Bull Pain, Horse Shu, The Cheetah Kid, Doc Dean, and Mean Mike from Disorderly Conduct. HHH was released saying he couldn't get anywhere in his career. Sounds like what happened when they released Mark Calloway, now known as The Undetaker, and the Wrestler known as OZ, who became 2 time WWF Champion Deisel, or like the time when WCW relesed Steve Williams saying he wasn't marketable, His Austin 3:16 shirt sold more shirts than WCW wreslters sold moves. WCW's Funny...

The Greenwich Snob

When HHH entered the WWF, they gave him a gimmick similar to the one he had in WCW, only this time it made sense. He was alloud to win in the WWF, and he did it like crazy. He won the Intrcontinental title a few months after joinging the WWF. He had some heated feuds with Marc Mero, Rocky Miavea, and Goldust over that title. Finally the Game was being played.

King of His Ring

Scheduled to win the WWF King of the Ring tournament in 1996, he was punished for the Razor-Deisel-HBK-HHH-Madison Square Garden incident that the members of the kliq came down to ring side and hugged when Razor and Diesel decided to jump ship to WCW. Why was he punished? Well Vinny Mac-Daddy couldn't do anything to Razor & Diesel because they were leaving. And HBK was the WWF Champion at the time and it wouldn't be right to punish him and make him lose the title only a couple months after winning it. So who was left, ah yes, Triple H. This punishment helped Austin win the King of the Ring in 96, which jump started his career, and if it wasn't for Hunter, SCSA may not be where he is right now.

From Royalty to Degenerate

In one of the biggest gimmick changes in history, Triple H went from All American Blue Blood rich snob that bows to his opponents to a Foul mouthed, Immature Degenerate that had two words for his opponents. Finallly Hunter was getting the face push he needed. After HBK left the WWF Hunter rebuilt DX, he brought in Sean Waltman, or X-Pac the day after Wrestlemania XIV. He also acquired the New Age Outlaws later that night. As a member of Shawn Michaels' DX they dismantled the Hart foundation, Bret left for WCW, Shawn injured Bulldog. They kicked Jim Neidharts ass outta the WWF, and as for the nugget, i mean Owen Hart (RIP) well he had to join with the Nation for protection.

The Crock

One of the best Gimmick Infringement gimmicks since "Marilyndust" Triple H along with D-Generation X, imitated the Nation of Domination. Triple H stopped being a follower and became the leader of DX. He held the European title twice. He was in a huge feud with the nation that ended at SummerSlam 98 where Trips defeated The Rock in a Ladder match for his Intercontinental title. But as good as DX was, The Game needed to do something for himself.

Corporate Nightmare

After getting tired of hearing the cheers from fans and doing this for them, A change was needed. He wanted to do things for himself, so he turned on X-Pac at Wrestlemania and joined the Corporation. He defeated X-Pac at the Backlash PPV. After the Corporation dismantled due to the egos of HHH and The Undertaker Hunter became a loner, which resulted in...

WWF Champion

The day after SummerSlam '98, Triple H realized that his dream came true. At the Raw following the SummerSlam PPV, the new WWF Champion Mankind put his title on the line less than 24 hours after winning it and his opponent, Triple H. Finally after all his training, after his punishment for having friends, Tripl H became the WWF champion.

The Game Starts

After Triple H found out he didn't need anybody to get what he wanted, he Started the Game. Cactus Jack, The Rock, Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho, and Chris Benoit are just a small list that failed to play the game. He won the WWF title 3 more times, and is it just me or has Triple H never lost the WWF World TItle fairly and cleanly? look at some tapes to see what i mean.

The Sadistic Son-In-Law

What kind of person wrecks a young girls wedding by showing a tape where he married her, what kind of person breaks up the love of a young woman and the man of her dreams, and what kind of person hit his father-in-law with a sledgehammer? The Game is just that sort of person. Stephanie McMahon hated the fact the she was married to Triple H, until a match between Her Father and her Husband. She practically handed the sledgehammer to her husband which Hunter used to take off Vince's head. After the 3 count, we found out it was all a big set-up. Steph was still mad at her father for the Undertaker incident where Vince used her to merge the Ministry and Corporation together. What goes around comes around Vinman.

The Cerebral Assassin

After wrestlemania Hunter got into his Cerebral Assassin persona. he beat the hell out of anyone he damn well pleased. But the assassin was put on hold for a few months at least due to a leg injury.
